The Moran Group of companies will be celebrating Health and Wellness week with some fun challenges.

From October 15-19, you will be challenged with several health and wellness tasks. These tasks are geared toward helping you build healthy habits.

            October 15 – October 19

                       

       Challenge Yourself this week:

 

MONDAY, October 15

  • Kick off the week with the 10,000 steps challenge.

  • For optimum health - 30 minutes of exercise per day.

  • Challenge yourself with a lunchtime walk around the block each day!

TUESDAY, October 16  

  • Drink more water. Did you get your eight glasses in today?

  • Replace one glass of juice or pop with water.

  • Challenge yourself to seven hours of sleep per night!

  • Good rest will improve your judgment, mood and ability to learn and retain information.

WEDNESDAY, October 17

  • Mid-week exercise….do a yoga or work-out video at home on your laptop!

  • Challenge yourself to create your work-out goals.

  • Find a work-out buddy and support each other every step of the way.

THURSDAY, October 18

  • Positivity Challenge - Challenge yourself to be Positive.

  • Keep a Gratitude Journal  and write down one item each day you are grateful for today.

  • Grateful people experience fewer aches and pains and feel healthier than others.

FRIDAY, October 19

  • Wrap up the healthy week with Mental Wellness

  • Meditation is a great way to foster brain and body health

  • There are meditation apps that can help you get started such as Headspace and Calm.
