F.E. Moran Special Hazard Systems is excited to announce that they have won the 2017 TAUC Safety Award by the Association of Union Constructors

Daryl Bessa Safety Award

They received a Zero DART Rate, making them one of the safest contractors in the industry.  A DART (Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred) Rate measures injuries that required days away from work.

F.E. Moran Special Hazard Systems has a dedicated safety team who develop safety training, procedures, and processes that keep people safe on the job site.  Their award winning safety program includes foreman training, toolbox talks, site visits, preventative processes, and incident tracking.

Jason Galoozis, Safety Director, said, "It is our goal to protect every one of our employees from an injury and make sure every single one of our employees goes home to their families."

The Thomas J. Reynolds (TAUC) Safety Awards is given to contractors who have a DART rate 25% below the Bureau of Labor Statistics national average from the previous year.  A special award is granted to those with a Zero DART rate.

The Association of Union Constructors is made of over 2,000 contractor companies that use union labor for their projects and local contractor associations and vendors in the industrial maintenance and construction fields.
