Fire at Thermal Power Plant in Chile Forces 150 Workers Evac

Santiago, Chile -- A fire ignited at the Quillota thermal power station yesterday and forced the evacuation of 150 employees.

The fire began at 10:30am.  An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.  

Fire crews were able to bring the fire under control by noon. 

Luckily, no one was injured in the fire.
