New Solar Power Plant in Indiana

Indiana -- More Indiana customers will be receiving solar energy thanks to Duke Energy.

Duke Energy is building a 17-MW solar power plant at Crane Naval Station, 40 miles from Bloomington.  The plant will sit on 145 acres on the naval base.

This plant will be the second-largest solar power plant in the state.  

It will be up and running by 2017.
