The Gilbert Fire Department put out a fire at a biodiesel plant on Saturday morning.

A Gilbert Fire spokesperson says a 300-gallon of methyl alcohol was struck by a forklift and spilled in this business, located near Arizona Avenue and Guadalupe.

The methyl alcohol caught fire, but crews were able to get the flames under control. The building's sprinkler system was also activated, helping to put out the fire. No injuries were reported.

Crews remain on the scene for mop-up operations. No evacuations were required.
