Employee Hurt in Fire at Sherwin-Williams Plant

One person was seriously injured when a flash fire occurred at the Sherwin-Williams paint plant.  Firefighters responded at 2:09pm when a chemical flash fire broke out.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in 10 minutes and no one else was injured.

The chemical fire did not pose an environmental risk, Battalion Chief Alex Gossett said.
