Fire at Anderson Chemical Plant - Ash Coats Local Community

A fire erupted at Indiana's Anderson Chemical Plant on May 10, 2014.

Firefighters responded and were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.  However, local residents found a white ash coating their cars, yards, and houses.

Local residents were concerned that the ash might be toxic.  However, officials at the Advanced Magnesium Alloys Corporation reported that the ash was not toxic.
