Dominican Republic -- The Dominican Republic has designed a futuristic power plant complex that will use four wind turbines and solar and geothermal energy.
The power plant will have homes, offices, and a spa. It will be called the Exosphere and will most likely be the Caribbean's tallest building.
Exosphere will be powered by renewable energy and the surplus electricity will be given to the grid.
The buildings in the complex will have LED lighting and energy efficient appliances. Additionally, the complex will use rainwater and greywater and have carpeting made with corn and soy-based paint.
