Philadelphia, PA -- A Pennsylvania company is set to build a dozen small power plants in the Marcellus Shale region.  The plants will produce electricity using nearby gas wells.  The power plants will be 20 MW each and located in Bradford, Tioga, Susquehanna, and Wyoming counties.

The small plants will cost about $20 million and will be built quickly.

"The whole business model is to site them close to natural gas production and electric grids so it minimizes the amouth of infrastructure that needs to be built," said Kristi Gittins, IMG spokeswoman.
