explosion detectionSoutheast Oklahoma -- Two oil field workers were killed and three were injured when a fire and explosion erupted at a drilling rig this morning.

"We had a fire at an oil derrick and there were two individuals that were killed," said Chief of Operations for Oklahoma's Office of the State Fire Marshal Sam Schafnitt.

Two of the three injured employees were taken to nearby trauma centers in critical condition and one sustained burns to his hands.
