chemical plant fire protectionBeaumont -- A spokesperson for ExxonMobil confirmed a fire at ExxonMobil has been extinguished this morning at 5:45am.

Everyone has been accounted for and no one was injured.  Although, some employees were moved to other locations.

The fire started at 12am this morning when vapor from a propylene line caught fire.

Ongoing air monitoring has shown no impact to the surrounding community.  The fire crew that responded to the scene was only needed to standby.
