Fairmont City -- A massive fire on Sunday destroyed a recycling plant when bundles of cardboard caught fire.
The blaze started around 2pm at the TEK Recycling Center.
"On arrival, firefighters found a fire involving baled cardboard was burning in the northwest area of the property. The fire had spread to the building, igniting stored bales inside," said Fairmont City Fire Department Chief Robert Allen.
No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
