UPDATE:  Family of Construction Worker Killed Wins Lawsuit

The family of a construction worker that was killed at Kyle Field during a construction accident has been awarded $53 million.

The lawsuit was filed by Angel Garcia's mother and her two children.  The jury agreed that the construction companies involved were responsible with 75% of the blame put on Manhattan Vaughn JVP and 25% blame on Lindamood Demolition.

The construction worker was working on a loader when concrete fell onto the machine from above.  It sent him and his machine off the edge of a fourth floor.
