Reminder, OSHA requires employers to post their OSHA 300 Injury and Illness Summary Log by February 1.

The February 1 deadline applies only to employees' viewing rights.  According to OSHA 1904.32, the OSHA 300 data should be posted in a "conspicuous place or places where notices to employees are customarily posted.  You must post the summary no later than February 1 of the year following the year covered by the records and keep the posting in place until April 30."

Employers with ten or less employees are exempt from this requirement.

In other OSHA news, in 2018, OSHA raised their fines significantly, to make up for inflation in all the years that there was not an increase.
