Positive Outlook for 2017 Construction

Construction Dive reported that construction executives are enthusiastic about non-residential construction activity in 2017.

The report came from the Wells Fargo Equipment Finance Survey.  The score from construction executives was the third highest in the past twenty years.  The score was 123 and scores of over 100 indicate strong optimism.

For 2017, 84% of executives surveyed said that they believe that a moderate to significant growth will happen over the next two years.  In 2016, 62% of participants said the same thing.

The positivity is likely propelled by the anticipated government spending on infrastructure and higher company profits.
