hemp for construction useIn 2005, when news coverage consisted of footage of New Orleans' flooding and people left homeless because their homes were too moldy to live in, James Savage thought there needed to be a change.  That change was hemp use in construction.

Savage did some research and found that in Europe, builders are using a material called Hempcrete.  It is airtight, but breathable and flexible and free from toxins.  It is resistant to mold and pests.  It is also virtually fireproof.  In fact, even Prince Charles has a home built with it!
