Man Killed at Chicago Construction Site | The Moran Group

Chicago, IL -- A worker was killed on Friday when equipment blew up in his face at a Chicago construction site.

The accident happened at 10am on Friday, according to Chicago Fire Department Media Affairs.  "High pressure air" was used to test equipment when a worker was hit in the face, the fire department spokesperson said.

The victim was Joseph Middona, 38.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  He died immediately.
