An ironworker was critically injured when he fell 40 feet onto a concrete slab at a construction site at Logan International Airport.
Federal and state officials are looking into the cause of the accident. All that is currently known is the accident happened at 7:45am today. The Connecticut man was working on a construction project for a parking garage at Logan International Airport when something happened and he fell 40 feet onto a concrete slab, which then collapsed.
He was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in critical condition.
All work has ceased until the investigation is completed. OSHA is on the scene.
