Manassas, VA -- A bald eagle nest was found at a construction site. Now, there has been a change of plans. Has this ever happened to you?
The construction company worked with the Fish and Wildlife Service to reach an agreement, so construction would not disturb nesting season. The construction is now set to begin August 1 and end December 1.
"Building construction as it pertains to eagle disturbance in this scenario will only include major construction activities such as underground utilities, paving, and exterior shell of the building," said the agreement.
F.E. Moran Fire Protection ran across a similar situation with an endangered tortoise burrow. See what they did next.
