Lancaster, NH -- A man and his daughter were killed in a tent collapse in New Hampshire. In addition, twenty-two people were injured Monday when a storm passed through the area, and a circus tent blew over. One hundred people were in the tent at the time.
The accident happened at 5:30pm as the first of two circus shows were beginning.
At the time of the collapse, a storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service.
That same weekend, a tent collapse killed another person in a Chicago suburb when a festival tent collapsed during a flash storm. In addition, the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago was shut down due to weather as well.
