HARTFORD - Firefighters have knocked down a fire at a car dealership.

The fire was reported at 6:06 a.m., at Harte Infiniti, 150 Weston St., Fire Capt. Peter Towey said. It started in an office in the southwest corner of the building and extended through the roof, he said.

No one was injured. The fire was under control by 6:26 a.m., Capt. James McLoughlin said.

Firefighters remained on the scene, venting the building, at 9:10 a.m., he said.

The fire, which was near I-91, contributed to traffic delays on the highway.

The office area has fire damage and there is smoke damage throughout the one-story building, Towey said.

"I'm not sure how quickly they're be able to occupy this building," McLoughlin said.

An investigation of what sparked the fire is underway.
