Many of them are also preparing to relive their horror with a coronial inquest into the deaths of 14 residents, and a second inquest into the fire itself, starting this Friday.
Apart from probing the fates of the 11 murder victims, this inquest will also look at the deaths of the three other residents, including Emmanuela Cachia, who died three months after the fire.
More than 20 of the 89 residents had died by January, 2012, with a further eight dying by November last year.
Donna Austin's mother Alma Smith was one of the murder victims and said time had failed to heal her wounds.
"The time gone by doesn't take away the hurt and sadness I remember from that tragic day," she said.
"I drive past the nursing home often and always think of how I could pop in to see her but now I can't."
