Firefighters are working on putting out a massive fire that has completely incinerated a row of stores in Elizabeth, NJ.  As of 6:45am, flames continued to lick the sky from the row of 8 stores, mostly restaurants.

Firefighters searched the stores and no one was injured; however, they had to quickly evacuate because the roof was collapsing.  Shortly after the men evacuated, the roof caved in.  There is now a perimeter around the buildings in case the building collapses further.

Because this fire is in progress, there is no information yet as to the cause or if fire protection was present.
