Blasdell Warehouse Demolished after Fire

Blasdell, NY -- A fire that ignited at 3am on August 28 has destroyed a warehouse.  

Thirteen fire departments were called to fight this fire.  There were only two fire hydrants nearby, causing a dangerously low water supply for fighting the fire.

The warehouse housed pellets and had propane tanks inside that exploded.

The building was severely damaged and will be demolished today.

No reports have been released announcing fire protection or cause.  A report was released that no one was injured.
