Chicago Suburb Apartment Engulfed in Flames

Oak Park, IL -- A fire broke out at 5:45am this morning in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park.  The fire was fierce and went from one building to the next, growing to three-alarms.

When fire crews arrived, explosive flames were seen covering the roof of the three-story apartment complex, causing parts of the roof to cave in.

The building was evacuated of residents and no injuries were reported as of 6:15am.  The American Red Cross are assisting residents.
