Seminole County, FL -- University of Central Florida students are homeless after a fire ripped through an off-campus housing complex that housed many UCF students.
The fire grew to 3 alarms. Luckily, the fire was contained to one building, leaving the other two in the complex relatively unscathed.
Two firefighters were transported to a hospital and seventy-five residents were displaced, including many UCF students.
"A lot of us probably don't have renter's insurance just because you have to buy that on your own," said resident, Hunter Caulder. "College kids don't think about that kind of stuff.
The Red Cross and UCF are working to find temporary housing for the students.
The cause has not yet been determined.
