CA Fire Consumes 10 Buildings

Huntington, CA -- A fire that ignited this morning in a business spread to 10 buildings.

The fire was reported at 1:30am.  Over 250 firefighters arrived at the scene.  At 2am, firefighters upgraded the blaze from two-alarms to three-alarms.

The blaze started in a metal-covered buildings and spread to nearby businesses.  10 buildings were burned in total and five were completely destroyed in the fire.  Two houses were also damaged.  One home was vacant while the other had six occupants who were displaced.

An employee was inside the building when the fire ignited, but was able to escape without injury.
