Sporting Goods Store Collapses Following Fire | F.E. Moran Fire Protection

Firefighters were called to a sporting goods store on Thursday when a fire ignited.  When they arrived, flames were shooting out of the roof.

After only fifteen minutes, firefighters moved to a defensive mode.  Forty-four firefighters worked for forty minutes to extinguish the fire.  At 8:45pm, it was knocked out.  However, it was not knocked out before the building partially collapsed.  

Although, firefighter officials called the fire "under control" at 8:45pm, video footage shows flames shooting from the roof at 9:15pm.
