Mason, OH -- One person was killed in a house fire this morning.  This is the second fatal fire in the area in the past two days.

Firefighters responded to the blaze at 1:41am.  When they arrived, they found one person dead inside the home.

The fire was extinguished at 3:30am.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.

On Monday, firefighters reported to another residential fire at 9am and found a man dead inside the burning home.  The firefighters reported that the man could not be found in time because of hoarding.  The hoarding allowed the fire to grow out of control quickly and hide the man from view.
