F.E. Moran Wins Bid for Will County Sheriff Building HVAC Project

Keeping Jobs Local with 75% Will County Pipefitters

Northbrook, IL – F.E. Moran is excited to be working with the Will County Sheriff’s office on their new building which will also house the 911 dispatch center.  They will be providing HVAC mechanical systems and temperature controls.  Their start of the project is planned for March 2017.  With the start of this new Will County building, F.E. Moran is bringing on a large portion of pipefitters from Will County to give back to the community.

Will County has been putting an emphasis on hiring county companies.  While F.E. Moran is state local, they are a Cook County business.  To keep employment local, F.E. Moran has given over half of the pipefitter jobs to Will County residents.

According to Scott Bowen, F.E. Moran Piping Superintendent, F.E. Moran will bring on approximately 75% Will County residents as pipefitters from the local 597.  Giving back to the communities that F.E. Moran works in has always been a priority.  As a family-owned business, F.E. Moran takes pride in employing locals and putting money back into the local economy.
