World Trade Center Construction Site has Dozens of Unreported Injuries

The Daily News broke the story that the World Trade Center construction site has left 34 serious injuries unreported to OSHA. The injuries ranged from a spinal fracture to broken limbs. However, because they did not report the injuries, it appeared they had exceeded state and national safety averages.
Over the years that the World Trade Center was being rebuilt, construction injuries were being kept hidden along with unsafe working conditions. It was found that 34 serious injuries went unreported to OSHA.
One worker was hit in the head by a 60-lbs rebar. Another fell 20 feet to the ground when his scaffold collapsed. While another was hit by a steel plate. Injuries ranged from spinal fractures, broken limbs, broken hips, and more.
