Argyle, TX -- Construction at the Argyle High School has been halted following the second death in less than a week at the construction site.
Twenty-two year old Daniel Moran died Tuesday, one day after celebrating his birthday.
"He was a good kid, a real good kid," said his brother, Paul Moran.
Investigators are not confirming the cause of death, but his family has said that his foot was trapped beneath the rear axle of an 18-wheeler his father was driving. His grandfather stood nearby. The family is devastated.
[It's] just horrible right now. They're depressed. I mean, that's the youngest one of all three of us, and it's just hard," said Paul Moran.
Last Thursday, 36-year old Julio Ledesma, single father of three, was killed at the construction site. He was killed and three others were injured when the metal frame of the indoor practice facility collapsed. The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
The Argyle Independent School District has called an emergency board meeting and halted work until further notice.
