Construction Worker Killed at Florida State University

A twenty-five year old construction worker was killed yesterday afternoon after an accident at Florida State University.

FSUPD officers were called at 12:01pm and it was reported a serious injury occured.  Travis Joseph Miller, who worked for Miller Plumbing - a subcontractor on a job working on new residence halls - was trapped between a construction elevator and the building.

Miller died at the scene.

FSUPD is conducting a non-criminal death investigation.
