Elvis Romeo fell six feet to the ground from scaffolding while doing construction work.  His skull was crushed on one side, but he survived.

Doctor's removed half of his skull, but he couldn't afford a prosthetic, so he lived with half a head.  He couldn't work because his brain was only protected by a thin layer of skin.  When well-wishers heard his story - thirteen months after the fall - they donated money to his surgery and he now has a prosthetic skull and is looking for work.

Well-wishers heard his story through the media and offered to pay for his surgery.

After the surgery, Romeo said, "I feel much better now, I thank god for the second chance he has given to me.  I also want to thank all the people for their help, and not to forget the doctors for their help for this surgery."
