2 Construction Workers Shot on Job Site

in the newsNashville, TN -- Two construction workers were shot while on the job site yesterday.

The other crew members, who are all hispanic, are concerned that someone is targeting hispanics.  A similar attack happened a month ago.

Just after 11am, two gunmen approached the construction site.  Two brothers were working inside the building and two brothers were working outside.

"The gunmen approached the construction workers inside, and both were shot in the neck.  Both have been taken to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  One is in life-threatening condition, and the other is in serious condition," said Police Spokesman Don Aaron. 

The gunmen ran and were not location.  They were described as two African-American men with dreadlocks in their late teens or early 20s.

"We are looking at surveillance footage now and trying to identify the suspects.  I think in recent weeks there has been a targeting of construction sites in general," said Aaron.
